My Dear Children,
This month let us see about Global Warming, its causation and consequences. Global warming is the accretion of Earth’s average surface temperature due to consequences of green house gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, CFC (ChloroFluroCarbon), Hydroflurocarbons and Perflurocarbons. Global Warming is caused by compilation of green house gases in the atmosphere like a thickening blanket, trapping the sun’s heat and mustering the planet to warm up.
Global Warming causes:

• Carbon dioxide emission from fossil fuel burning power plants ,burning gasoline for transportation
• Methane emissions from animals, agriculture such as rice, paddies etc
• Deforestation – The use of forests for fuel, wood, commodities and paper products.
• Increase in usage of chemical fertilizer on croplands
• Emission of CFC gases from refrigerator

Effects of Global warming

• Himalaya Glaciers are receding fast because of rise in temperature due to global warming
• Rise in sea level
• Phy plankton removes carbon dioxide and emits oxygen. Phy plankton is on extinct due to global warning
• In Antartica Peninsula sea ice has diminished significally 10 folds.
• Our future food is slowly disappearing due to Global Warming.
• Certain Fish species are not reproducing due to high temperature
• Sea ice is diminishing in Artic and Antartic. This means decreased habitant for the polar bears
• Many bird species are in extinct to extinction
• Currently more than half of the Global emission comes from the developed counties. China is the biggest carbon dioxide emitter and India will soon over take Russia to become the third largest emitter.

       Even if stabilization of green house gas is achieved global warming will be continued for several decades and sea level will rise for several centuries.
To save our mother earth we should work together to stop global warming

• By reducing the usageof Automobiles for nearby places
• Reducing the usage of refrigerator
• Start using recycle base article
• Use cotton clothes than silk rayon clothes
• Start using paper bags than plastic bags
• Start using recharchable batteries
• Avoid using leather articles, leather tanning process spoil our mother earth fertility
• Grow trees as much as one can
• Check your vehicles regularly and keep your vehicles in good conditions.
• To bail out our mother earth it is important to love nature and guide your fellow members the ways to bail out our mother earth. Think once before you despoil the nature’s beauty.
