Fashion and style - The keywords of
every Teenager. When entering the phase as a teenager every child
adapts to many changes physically and mentally. Beauty and smartness
gains attention at a crucial stage for kids turning to adults and this
is a complicated handling phase for parents. Apart from education, many
ideas gain importance in their mind among which “fashion and style"
tops the list of all. Outwardly it may not seem to be of much
importance but it has a weightage among the kids. Western culture has
spread its wings all over our country, even villages seem to be unified
in this. What is the issue then? It is nothing but the level which we
adapt westernization that matters. Dressing is the right of every
individual. Many have a passion to spend time on make ups, hair do's,
choosing matching accessories, footwear’s, watches, belts etc are all
added to the list of shopping. Nothing is wrong until and unless
borders are crossed. But who must fix the borderline? Hope it’s the
duty of parents. Parents must advice or instruct adults to be modest.
Being modern and modest has their differences. It doesn’t imply that
being modern is bad or wrong. We must preserve our uniqueness and our
values. We must set examples for kids, teach them so they have interest
to neither leave your tradition or the trendiness.
Check the occasions, your role over
there and dress accordingly. This implies to both boys and girls. On
the other side parents also want their kids to be trendy and are ready
to spend money and time for it. Parents must think whether it is
necessary for your kid. It is important to make your kid understand and
have mutual talk for a good conclusion. Dressing is the first
impression everyone conceives easily. It speaks many things about us to
outsiders. Many issues related to fashion are rising nowadays, media
has open discussions regarding the dressing of women, the use of
leggings, traditional dresses to temples and many more comments are
heard often. Different opinions of individuals are put forward like one
side speaks of women’s personal rights and the other side is about
losing the traditional values and culture. But then, there are no
conclusions to the issue so far. Thinking these from a different
aspect, why can’t our dressing be in such a way that it’s not the
spotlight of discussion and way to gossip for others. Temples have
imposed strict dress regulations for both men and women. Still,
controversies go hand in hand for our people. So nothing can be
concluded, every rule or even a suggestion has its value only when it is
practiced in reality. All things have both positive and negative
effects. Let’s all rock and roll without leaving our tradition sink and
also being trendsetters.
