A BRIGHT LIGHT-Truth

“The earth is supported by the power of truth; it is the power of truth that makes the sun shine and the winds blow; indeed all things rest upon it”
 -Chanakya

Truth is universal; it’s the only thing that remains the same no matter what revolves around. Next to love, its truth that stays as a universal law in all religions and cultures. That’s why every parent or elders in the family try to inculcate this value in the children. They even help the children to erect in the value of truth as a habit. Keeping these common facts aside, in this particular article we are going to discuss on the places where we miss out our truthfulness without our knowledge and how we can overcome them.
Being truthful is not a task. It’s a way of behavior. Truthfulness is missed out by each and every one of us starting from our childhood. We try to bamboozle our parents, our kith and kin for trivial issues like failing to do homework, copying , wasting time and so on are the fundamental stage where we hide the truth. An easy question that arises in our minds, is copying and wasting time comes under truth. Yes, wasting time is way of false to oneself and to your studies. We tend towards the falseness in a very early age. Then when we enter a professional life we try to deceive our higher authorities by failing in our duties, yet try to get our normal pay. Is it acceptable? Definitely not, yet we leave it unnoticed. Giving and taking bribes, breaking traffic rules, failing to pay taxes, corruption etc are some occurrences where we are not true to the government in the particular country we live in. But are we least bothered about it?
In all the above facts knowingly or unknowingly break our truthfulness. So, is it very hard to be genuine? Never, once we think being true to oneself is an essential one; we will bring that practice mechanism. Truth is rarely pure and never simple. It takes strength and courage to admit and live in the truth. Yet it is the one that gives peace and happiness. Being true is like residing on the safer side. If you shut up truth and bury it under the ground, it will grow and gather to itself such explosive power that the day it bursts through it will blow up everything in its way. It makes all things beautiful. It makes life and a person beautiful. Truth always prevails. HONESTY IS ALWAYS THE BEST POLICY…. LET THE SEED OF AUTHENTICITY GERMINATE IN OUR HEARTS AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.
